I am a mind-body psychologist, health educator, and yoga teacher at Stanford University. My job is to help people reduce stress, improve well-being, and live more meaningful lives--whether that's by teaching them about the neuroscience of depression or a meditation on compassion. I am the author of Yoga for Pain Relief and the Editor in Chief of the International Journal of Yoga Therapy, a peer-reviewed journal of research on yoga and meditation.
